Welcome to Pack 353

The Boy Scouts of America has been an American institution since 1910.  Founded in 1930, Cub Scouting, a division of the Boy Scouts of America, has involved younger children in the scouting movement. It is a year-round family program designed for children who are in the first grade through fifth grade (or 7 to 10 years of age). Parents, leaders, and organizations work together to achieve the purposes of Cub Scouting. Currently, Cub Scouting is the largest of the BSA's three membership divisions (the others are Boy Scouting and Venturing).

The purposes of Cub Scouting are physical fitness, character development, and citizenship.  If you ask a child, however, the’ll seldom offer these reasons for being a Cub Scout.  Children have one primary reason to join Cub Scouts, and that’s to have FUN!  Our Pack has a program that provides children (and their families) a lot of fun!
